Peppermint Brownies...

My improved version of HERSHEY'S Brownies 

What you need:

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup peppermint dust

1/4 cup milk

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9-inch square baking pan. 

Stir together butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl. Add eggs; beat well with spoon. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in peppermint dust and milk. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. 

Bake until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan, for about 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely before decorating. 

Add some frosting (I used vanilla Betty Crocker frosting) and add some crushed candy canes on top.

I made bite-size brownies and put them on small boxes to give as Christmas gifts.

I saw a youtube tutorial with this DIY, its very simple and costs very little, hope you enjoy...

You'll need:

Cork, to make the lid... 

a transparent vase
(as tall as you like)... 

and curtain hooks...

Step 1: Use the cork to make a lid for the vase,

Step 2: Fit as many hooks as you can on the lid,

Step 3: that's it, decorate the lid of want, but thats optional...

Tuna Taco...

I had this tuna taco for dinner the other day, and I don't think it's so hard to imitate,

I haven't try my own version though... 

This one had seared tuna, avocado, chipotle mayo, purple cabbage and cilantro leaves on a flour tortilla... it was delicious!

(don't forget to add a spicy tomato sauce)

Hair tutorial: Milkmaid braids

1.- Tie your hair into 2 ponytails.

2.- Braid each ponytail.

3.- Cross one of the ponytails over your head and secure it with bobby pins.

4.- Repeat third step with the other braid.

5.- Hide the ends of each braid beneath the other braid and secure with bobby pins.

The result...

I like to leave some hair falling on the sides, but you can pull it all back, looks great to...

DIY: Easy knotted headband

You'll need...

a plastic headband

ribbon or fabric (to wrap headband)

small pieces of fabric (2 or + colors)

1.- Cover the plastic headband with fabric, if you have a plain colored headband you can use that...

2.- Tie a piece of fabric (just do one knot), then repeat this step with another color...

3.- Repeat as necessary alternating colors (try to end with the color you started with)...

You should get something like this...

Tadaaa!!...
